Alex us blown and carved glass with fused steel in his sculptural work. Over time the endless verity of different form in which the glass can take has gained his love for glass. The translucent, fragile, fluid yet hard, works that he creates a magical feel to them. The work that he creates is simple yet elegant in design which use the power of negative space in his work. Alex work with the natural flow of the glass when he designs his pieces allowing the glass to fellow creatively . He finish his work with a sandblasted finish that creates a translucent look to the piece so that is becomes more defined object. With areas of high polish areas highlighting and defining the curves to creating emphasize at a distance. Alex only add bits of color to his piece creating a feeling of purity with in his work.
