She also reference the past with some of the techniques that she use in knotting and basketry ,through the use of lines and the stacking system that she uses. She wants the viewer of her work to ask the questions that archeologist ask what is the meaning and purpose of the object and the person that made it. In hopes that it will creates a story that reminds of us all for where we once came form and what the future looking back will see.
