Michael Graves


Identified as one of The New York Five, Graves has become a household name with his designs for domestic products sold at Target stores in the United States. In addition to his popular line of household items, Graves and his firm have earned acclaim for a wide variety of commercial and residential buildings and interior design. Graves was elected a Fellow of the American Institute of Architects in 1979. In 1999 Graves was awarded the National Medal of the Arts and in 2001 the Gold Medal from the American Institute of Architects .

Michael Graves and Associates has been at the has lead the way in both design and architecture since 1964. Comprised of two firms, Michael Graves & Associates who work with architectural and interior design practices and Michael Graves Design Group, the product and graphic design end of the pratices.
