Sacral, 1440 still images from video, metronome, sewing needles, scissors, marble, wood, string.

We move through the world driven by deadlines, appointments, and due dates. As an artist, the concept of time in a studio space is a precious notion that I hold dear. It is with solemnity that I acknowledge I will not always have space in which time falls still, and that I may be left up to my own creative devices. Beyond the studio just being a space to work, it provides an environment that fosters community, transformation, and reflection. Without this notion of studio the actions and affect of an artist become deflated.
