Nan Goldin is one of the most fascinating personalities of the contemporary photography. Her work is revealing the tragedy, cruelty and death, at the same time are showing love, sensitivity and desire. Goldin is unmasking contradictions of the contemporary culture, not running away from numerous taboo subjects. She is mostly known for series of slides " The Ballad of Sexual Dependency" where she captured "her family' -mostly Drag Queens a photostory about love, aids, and death.
